Market Economics
Understand how a market-based economic system operates
This year, we're focused on making even more of an impact than ever before in our market economics projects. Under the leadership of the Market Economics Project Manager Christian Talbott, we're getting creative and educating people of all ages about how our economy works.
Bulls and Bears Board Game
It is much more fun to learn something new while playing a game, which is why we've decided to create a board game that teaches about investments and the stock market. This legacy project launched last year while serving a group of young women from Girls Inc.
This year, we plan on reaching more people and putting a professional polish on our board game so we can sell it to other SIFE teams and educational institutions.

Educate Youth with Visits to the Pretend City
With a focus on experiential learning, we will be taking groups of children to visit The Pretend City in Irvine, CA. "The Pretend City is a community which builds better brains through fun, whole body learning experiences and empowers children and their grown-ups to meaningfully connect with and expand their world."
Our goal is to facilitate learning about small businesses to young people so that they can better understand how a market economy works on a micro and macro level.
